How to Create a GoFundMe Profile

Online donations to Sefaria are managed through GoFundMe, formerly Classy, a popular fundraising solution used by nonprofit organizations to manage payments and keep user payment information safe. To change any aspect of your donation, obtain receipts, or otherwise engage with how you support Sefaria, you will need to create a free account with GoFundMe.

To create a free GoFundMe account:

1. Check your inbox for an email from info@sefaria-inc.prosend.gofundme.com confirming your donation.
2. In the email, click on the ‘Manage Your Donation’ button. A window will open with instructions for registering for your GoFundMe account. 

Please note:

• Your GoFundMe account is NOT the same as your Sefaria account. These must be kept separate in order to adequately protect your payment information. You will need to create a separate password for each account.
• If you have already donated to Sefaria or another organization that works with GoFundMe, you may have an existing account. If this is the case, when you click the  ‘Manage Your Donation’ button, a window will open where you can log into your GoFundMe account.
• If you don’t see the confirmation email, check your spam folder. Sometimes email platforms mistakenly classify this email as spam.
