How to Hear a Verse of Torah Chanted

Sefaria users can listen to all verses in the Five Books of Moses as they would be chanted according to an Ashkenazi tradition. Originally created for the PocketTorah app, these recordings are now freely available the all Sefaria learners. 

 

To hear a verse of Torah chanted:

  1. Click on any passage to open the Resource Panel.
  2. Scroll down to find the Torah Readings subheading.
  3. Click on the Torah Readings subheading to open a panel with the recording. 
  4. Click on the play button (▶) to start the recording.
