How to Find Websites That Cite a Specific Text

Sefaria’s Linker allows websites to connect Jewish citations with their corresponding sources in the library. You’ll see this feature on websites like My Jewish Learning, RabbiSacks.org, and the Virtual Beit Midrash, where it connects websites to the texts that they quote. 

 

To see a list of websites with articles or posts related to the text you’re reading:

  1. Click on any passage to open the Resource Panel.
  2. Scroll down to find the Web Pages subheading.
  3. Click on Web Pages to see the names of the websites that cite the text you’re reading. The number in parentheses indicates the number of pages on the site citing the text in question.
  4. Click on the name of any website to open a list of relevant articles found on that page.
  5. Click on any article to open it in a new tab.
