How to View Your Reading History Team Sefaria Updated January 22, 2026 20:41 By default, your Sefaria Account keeps track of your full reading history. This enables users to keep track of resources they’ve engaged with and jump right back into learning. You can turn this feature on or off at any time. To view your reading history:Navigate to the Sefaria Library homepage, where you’ll see the Recently Viewed subheading on the right side of your screen. Under this subheading, you’ll see links to the last three texts you’ve engaged with in the Sefaria Library.Click on any of the titles to open the text.To see more than the three most recent texts, click on the words All history, found underneath your top three texts. To turn your reading history tracker on or off:Click on the Sefaria Library profile button, found in the top right corner of the Sefaria Library header, to open a dropdown menu.Click on Account Settings.Under the Reading History subheading, click on your preferred option. Click on the Save button, found at the top of the Account Settings page. Please note: If you have not yet viewed any texts, the Recently Viewed subheading will not appear on the Sefaria Library homepage.In order for a source to appear in your reading history, you must click on or tap a portion of the text. If you scroll through a source without selecting a verse or any other section of the text, the source will not appear in your reading history.Turning off your reading history tracker will delete any prior reading history.
