How to Enable the Emoji Megillah When Reading the Book of Esther

The Emoji Megillah is a version of the book of Esther, traditionally read during the Jewish holiday of Purim, that incorporates emojis into the original biblical text. The Emoji Megillah is available in both English and Hebrew. You can access this unique version of the text in two ways:

• By opening the Resource Panel from within the text of the book of Esther
• By accessing the Table of Contents for the book of Esther

To view the Emoji Megillah by opening the Resource Panel:

1. Navigate to the book of Esther from the library homepage, either by clicking on Tanakh and scrolling down or by typing Esther into the search bar at the top right corner of the page.
2. To view the Emoji Megillah in English:
   1. Click on any verse in the book of Esther to open the Resource Panel.
   2. To view the Emoji Megillah in English, click on the Translations subheading.
   3. Scroll down to find the words Emoji Megillah alongside other English-language translations.
   4. Click the word Select.

3. To view the Emoji Megillah in Hebrew:
   1. Click on any verse in the book of Esther to open the Resource Panel.
   2. Click on About this Text.
   3. Scroll down to find Source Versions subheading.
   4. Under the words Emoji Megillah, click the Select Version button.

To view the Emoji Megillah by accessing the Table of Contents:

1. Navigate to the book of Esther from the library homepage, either by clicking on Tanakh and scrolling down or by typing Esther into the search bar at the top right corner of the page.
2. Click on the word Versions, found under the title of the book on the right side of the page.
3. Scroll down to find the words Emoji Megillah among the various available versions.
4. Click on your desired version of the text to select.
