How to Make a New Sheet

The Sefaria Sheet Editor is a tool that allows users to create their own compilations of texts and media. To create a source sheet on Sefaria, you must have a Sefaria Account.

To create a new source sheet:

  1. Log in to your Sefaria Account.
  2. Click on the profile button, located in the top right corner of your screen, to open a dropdown menu.
  3. Click on Create a New Sheet.
  4. Click on the title to enter editing mode.  

Please note: 

  • The default title of a new source sheet is New Source Sheet. You can change this by typing in a new title.
  • To save your work, click the blue Save button in the top right corner of the sheet editor. After this initial save, the source sheet will save automatically.
