How to Add Videos, Images, and Other Media to a Sheet

The Sefaria sheet editor is a tool that allows users to create their own compilations of texts and media. Source sheets may include texts from within the library, multimedia resources, or original text.

Please note: You must have a Sefaria Account to create a sheet on Sefaria.

Learn how to create a Sefaria Account

1. Click on the profile button, located in the top right corner of your screen, to open a dropdown menu.
2. To begin a new sheet, click on Create a New Sheet. Alternatively, click on Profile to see all your existing sheets.
3. Click on + icon, found on the top left side of the screen, to see three icons.
4. Click on the image icon (the middle icon) to open a window displaying your device storage.
5. Click on your desired image from within your device storage.
6. Click the Open button to add the image to your sheet.

3. Click on + icon, found on the top left side of the screen, to see three icons.
4. Click on the image icon (the left-most icon) to open a search bar.
5. Type the web address (url) of your desired video or audio file into the search bar.
6. Click the Add media button to add the video or audio to your sheet.

3. Click on any white space on the sheet.
4. Type your own writing. Alternatively, paste a text from an external source.

Please note: It is not necessary to click on the + icon in order to add either original text or a source from outside the library.
