We love to hear from Sefaria users! You are always welcome to reach out with a question, comment, or any other feedback. You can either email us, or submit reports about bugs and errors directly from within the library. 
 
For general inquiries, the best email address is hello@sefaria.org. Someone will answer your query within two business days. 
 
To report a mistake in a text in the library, the best email address is corrections@sefaria.org. Please make sure your error report includes the following: 
 
  1. The URL of the page you're looking at.
  2. The relevant version of text.
  3. The relevant text title.
  4. A clear description of the error. 
  5. The basis of your determination. This may include edition details about a printed book, page numbers, and the like. 
 
Please note: We will be unlikely to change the text based on differing textual traditions. We will only change it if we believe that an error (either by the printer or Sefaria) has been made. 
 
To report a textual error or a bug from within the library:
  1. Click on any passage of text to open the Resource Panel.
  2. Scroll down to find the word Feedback, found under the TOOLS subheading. 
  3. Click on Feedback to open a panel with a dropdown menu, a text box, and a place to enter your email address. 
  4. To report a bug, select Report a bug. To report an issue with the text, select Report an issue with the text. 
  5. Provide relevant information, such as steps you took when the bug occurred, in the text box. 
  6. Enter your email address. 
  7. Click on the Submit button. 
 
Please note: 
  • To report an error directly from Sefaria's mobile app, a long press on the relevant text will open the Resource Panel. Scroll to find the words Report Error and follow the above steps. 
  • It is not possible to report a bug from within the mobile app interface.
