Quick Guide: Meet the Voices on Sefaria Homepage

The Voices on Sefaria homepage is an entry point into a dedicated platform where you can produce and explore user-created content that utilizes sources from the Sefaria Library.

At the top of the Voices on Sefaria homepage you’ll see the header. On the left side of the header, there are three links: 

  • Topics: Click to see user-created content, organized according to a variety of Topics.
  • Collections: Click to see collections of user-created content, each comprising a number of Sheets collected by a Voices on Sefaria user.
  • Donate: Click to access a donation hub, through which you can support Sefaria’s work.

On the right side of the header, you’ll also see:

  • Search bar
  • Create button (click to access the Sefaria Sheet Editor)
  • Question mark symbol (click to access the Help Center)
  • Globe symbol* (click to choose your preferred interface language)
  • Bell icon** (click to see notifications about your sheets)
  • Product switcher button (click to navigate to another Sefaria product)
  • Profile icon which, when logged in, will display your picture or initials (click to open a dropdown menu)

In the center of the Voices on Sefaria homepage you’ll see links for exploring user-created content related to the weekly Torah portion and upcoming significant days on the Jewish calendar. Underneath these two themes, you’ll see a selection of Topics users have created content about. To explore more Topics, click  

On the right side of the Voices on Sefaria homepage (or by scrolling down on a mobile browser), you’ll find a sidebar with additional resources to support your learning. These include:

  • Basic information about Voices on Sefaria
  • A link to the Sefaria Sheet Editor, our tool for users to create their own Torah-based content
  • A link to subscribe to Sefaria’s newsletters 
  • Links to further information about Sefaria, including how to reach out for assistance
