How to Delete Your Account

Sefaria accounts are free and provide access to all features available in the Sefaria Library and Voices on Sefaria. There are two ways to delete a Sefaria Account: Independently, for those who use the Sefaria App, or by requesting account deletion, for those who access Sefaria in any other manner.

To delete your Sefaria account by accessing the Sefaria App:

1. Open the Sefaria App and log in to your Sefaria Account.
2. Tap Account at the bottom of the screen.
3. Tap on Settings to open the Settings Menu.
4. Scroll down and tap on Delete Account.
5. Follow the prompts to confirm deletion.

To delete your Sefaria Account without accessing the Sefaria App:

1. Send an email hello@sefaria.org. In it, request that your account be deleted.
2. Include the email associated with your account.
3. Await confirmation. Once your account has been deleted, you'll receive a confirmation email from a member of our team.
