How to Bookmark a Text

Sefaria’s bookmarking feature allows you to bookmark any text to return to later. In order to use this feature, you must be logged into a Sefaria account. When bookmarking a text, you can choose to save your spot either at the closest chapter break or at a specific verse or passage.

To bookmark the closest chapter break:

1. Ensure the text you’d like to save is open but the Resource Panel has not been opened. 
2. Click the bookmark icon next to the A menu (or א menu when using the Hebrew interface). 

To mark a specific verse or passage: 

1. Click on any passage of text to open the Resource Panel.
2. Click the bookmark icon next to the A menu (or א menu when using the Hebrew interface). 

Please note:

• When hovering over the bookmark icon, you’ll see a note with a citation of the text you will be marking.
• Please note: To find your bookmarked texts, click on the bookmark icon next to the search bar at the top right corner of your screen.
• To remove a text from your list of saved texts, click on the bookmark icon next to the text you’d like to remove.
