How to Change Translations on the App

You can access the complete Sefaria library through our apps. This includes an ever-growing array of translations in a variety of languages. 

To view or change translations on the Sefaria app:

  1. Tap any passage of text to open the Resource Panel. On the app, the Resource Panel appears at the bottom of your screen.
  2. Tap on the Translations subheading to view the available options for the text in question.
  3. Scroll to view available translations, grouped by language.
  4. Tap the word Open, found below the translation preview, to see two buttons: Open Version and Cancel.
    • To open the complete translation, tap the Open Version button.
    • To close the Resource Panel or continue exploring other translation options, tap the Cancel button.
