How to Find a Sheet in Voices on Sefaria

Voices on Sefaria is home to thousands of Sheets created by Sefaria users on a wide variety of topics. You can search published Sheets for your own learning or as inspiration to create your own.

To find a Sheet relating to a specific topic by using the search bar:

  1. Type the Topic you’re looking for into the search bar on Voices on Sefaria. As you type, potential matches for your query will appear in a dropdown menu.
  2. Choose the Topic from the dropdown menu. Topics are preceded by a # symbol. 
  3. Scroll through the Sheets related to the Topic you selected.

To find a Sheet relating to a specific topic from a Voices on Sefaria Topic page:

  1. Click on the Topics tab, found on the top left side of the Voices on Sefaria header.
  2. Click through the Topic categories to find the Topic you’re looking for. Alternatively, click on All Topics A to Z for a list of all available Topics.
  3. Scroll through the Sheets relating to your chosen  Topic.

To find a Sheet written by a particular Sefaria user:

  1. Type the user’s name into the search bar on Voices on Sefaria. As you type, potential matches for your query will open in a dropdown menu.
  2. Click on the name of the person you’re searching for from among the options in the dropdown menu. Author names are preceded by a quill icon.
  3. On the author’s page, you will find all of the person’s public Sheets.  Click on any Sheet that interests you to view it.

Once you have found a Sheet that you like, you can engage with it in multiple ways. You can find all of these actions in the Voices on Sefaria Resource Menu. To open the menu, click on the three horizontal dots to the right of the A/א menu.

By accessing the Voices on Sefaria Resource Menu, you can:

  1. Save the Sheet: Click Save to add the Sheet to the saved Sheet list in your profile. 
  2. Copy the Sheet: Click Copy to create a copy of the Sheet in the list of your personal Sheets in your profile. Once the Sheet is copied, you can edit it.
  3. Add to a Collection: - Any Sheet, yours or anyone else’s, can be added to a Collection. Select Add to Collection, then either choose an existing collection or create a new one, and click Done to add.
  4. Export to Google Docs - For optimal printing of the Sheet, export to Google Docs.
  5. Share - Share a Sheet by copying and pasting the URL or by using any of the options listed.
