How to Compare Texts

Sefaria’s Compare Text feature allows you to view any two or more texts side by side and scroll through each independently. This feature can be accessed by opening the Resource Panel.

To view two or more texts side by side:

1. Click on any passage of text to open the Resource Panel.
2. Scroll down to locate the Compare Text subheading, found under TOOLS.
3. Click on Compare Texts to open a panel with a list of text categories (e.g. Tanakh, Talmud, Mishnah, etc.)
4. To find the relevant text, click on the associated text category.
5. Scroll down to find the relevant title.
6. Click on the title to open the Table of Contents. 
7. Using the Table of Contents, navigate to the specific text you’d like to view. 

Note: You can repeat this process as many times as you would like, opening multiple panels of text side by side.
